OMG! School starts on Wednesday and I am SO excited, aren't you!?!?! It's my first year in Jr. High at Snowcrest! I have been waiting for Jr. High to come and it's finally here. I got all the classes I wanted and I got a few with my friends! :) I already went clothes shopping for school, but I haven't really gone supplies shopping yet! I got my locker and everything! I'm so excited to go decorate it sometime. Maggie and I are one locker away from each other! In between us is Allison (she's really nice and one of our friends) Like I said I'm SUPER excited for school to start, but there's only one thing... What am I going to wear to school on the first day!!!!! Hahaha see ya at school!

So far California has been fun. (even though I've seen it all before) The drive started right after the Rampage Tourniment. Ryan and I both scored and won our last games... We drove from about 4 o'clock to about 10:30 at night, we stayed at the Hampton Inn in the brightly colored city of Vegas. The next morning we were back on the road heading into Cali, we finally got there around noon, the trip wasn't all that bad because I slept and watched movies most of the time, soon enough we got to my grandma's house and went through all of my Jr. Lifeguards stuff that I had to have, and got it packed. I'm so excited to start my new camp here in California! (I'll post some pictures when I can)

False Alarm!

So sorry I had you worried so much about my turtle!! It turns out he was right on the edge of the grass!! Maggie came over and we went to go jump on the tramp, and there he was on the bark!!!!!!!! WE ARE SOOO HAPPY HE'S HOME!!!!!! Sorry Tanner we found him first. Hahaha

Missing Yoshi

Once again our tortoise "Yoshi" is missing. One day we put him outside to walk around but then a few hours later he was gone. About a year ago he went missing for about a week and ended up at the end of the next neighborhood! Fortunately some of the Dunn's friends found him in their driveway! I just wanted to let you all know that he's out there somewhere under a bush or a tree, but I hope we find him soon! (This picture isn't really him but it's the closest one I could find to look like him). So if you see a turtle wandering around call us right away! We miss him sooo much, we want him back home!!!
P.S. His favorite foods are lettuce and cantaloupe.

CORN NUTS!!

So on the last day of school Madi and I were outside with the 5th graders. We were talking to Elise and Kate and we were about to go back inside until we saw Carver, we asked him what he was up to and he said that he had a fruit roll up and some corn nuts. So then Madi and I started saying corn nuts to everyone!!! So, we decided to look them up and see what we find. Here are some corn nuts!!

Valley Elementary Iron Kids

This picture is of all the Iron Kid contestants. It turned out to be really cool because as you can see all the Valley kids got a medal! (from left to right) Taylor Rumsey, Elise Hillstrom, Maggie Bushell, Emily Christie, Jake Hawks, Hannah Hillstrom, Peter Tanner, and last but not least Taylor Booth.
This is the fabulous 6th grade team, we got 2nd place in the relay. It was so much fun!!
Here are some pictures of me and Maggie doing our jumping jacks. After the grade is done with their relay all the kids from that grade go into a jump off, so we all started out pretty good but then you get really tired and start messing up. What you have to do for the jumping jack is this: You start in a lowercase L position then up to a capital A position, your hands have to ALWAYS come above your head otherwise you are eliminated!! So, here are some funny pictures that my mom took of Maggie and I... Btw in the end I got 1st place after 12 min. of doing jumping jacks, and the next morning I couldn't even stand up!
Here I am trying my hardest to get to the top! hahaha

And check out Maggie in this one it looks like she is in a yoga class or something! hahaha

I found these pictures on my computer, and I thought they were hilarious!! I remember when we took these pictures in my room. One day I was practicing my "daily" (more like monthly) splits, and all the sudden I could pull both of my legs up almost PAST my head!!! I was soooo excited when I accomplished that awesome task, and you know whats weird is that Ryan's legs magically got longer!! We were both so proud of ourselves!

Mother's Day

This is what we did on our Mother's Day... It was a nice day to do some lawn mowing, drawing with a little chalk, playing basketball, jumping on the tramp, and having a great Mother's Day!! (It's a little late but...) HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Some may say that girls are more flexible than boys, well... from my understanding my little brother has beat me at the splits. :-( That is very very sad for me, I mean to have your little brother beat you at the splits and he doesn't even go to a tumbling class is really really sad, And Ryan if you're out there, I will beat you at the splits one day... just wait.

Introducing...........iPad!!

On April 3, 2010, The iPad came into our lives. While walking through the Gateway there was not one person in sight, we walked farther and farther until we turned the corner.............. And there it was the Apple store! There were people EVERYWHERE just waiting to get inside that magical store and hold that iPad for the first time EVER! When we walked inside I saw those very very sad desktops, iPods, laptops, and even... iPhones! They were left alone while the iPad was being surrounded by everyone in the store, I saw the jealous looks on their screens. Only very few people were looking at computers, I swear about 100 iPads were sold in 1 hour!!!! I sat there staring at the beautiful iPad cases on the wall, until a family came up and got one off the wall, the dad asked "is this one waterproof?" and the man assisting them said "Well yes it is!" I couldn't believe it, a waterproof iPad case (what are you going to do swim with it?) obviously... they bought the iPad. One by one people from everywhere where coming in and out in and out with smiles on their faces. I mean kids, parents, teenagers, grandma's and grandpa's all where so eager to get hold of the iPad and never let go. When we left the store I looked back and the people coming out only had one thing, and one thing only....... the iPad.

It's the time of the school year where we have our yearly valentines dance. I have to admit though now that dance is over school seems a little out of place, now that we don't have it anymore it's kinda boring after lunch because now we sadly have to look forward to MUSIC & ART! :-( But we still can look forward to the end of the year dance!
Now we can look back at the memories, Goodbye Mr. Weight we'll miss you... hahaha JK!

Soccer vs. Football

Ok, there is this whole battle thing going on at school on whether soccer is better than football, so I am going to prove to you that soccer IS better than football, here are the top ten reasons:

1. For soccer, all you need is a ball and a patch of dirt.

2. Soccer creates a positive sense of nationalism.

3. Scoring holds more weight

4. Soccer FOR SURE takes more skill.

5. Soccer players are more physically fit.

6. The game atmosphere is better.

7. Soccer has the most attractive athletes.

8. Juggernaut in X-Men 3 is ex-professional soccer player.

9. The world plays soccer, only Americans play football. (thanks for helping us train Nick!)

And 10. All of these are very true but this is the best of all... SOCCER IS THE ORIGINAL FOOTBALL!!!

So take that football players!!

We had a day at Universal Studios, the 1st time I went there I was with my mom Ryan and myself so this time we took my dad. We had sooo much fun there! And let me tell ya the first time at Universal we went on the Jurassic Park ride and it wasn't that much of a joy for me, but when we went this 2nd time it was a blast! We kept going on that ride over and over again and each time we went we would make a different face for the camera! It was awesome!

Shilo is the coolest dog EVER she is soooo nice and loving, everyone loves her! Even Jessey loves her and (I guess she doesn't like big dogs) so if we're not home and you come up to our door and all the sudden you see this big dog coming at you don't be alarmed! She just wants to be pet and loved, she is the best dog you could ever have, she is easy to train and so so so great with kids as you may all ready know. So if your looking for the perfect dog get a Shilo dog (golden retriever) you won't regret it! And just to let you know some of her favorite things to are to: steal socks, play soccer, swim, play in the field, get her belly rubbed, and if your wondering for family photos she is excellent at staying still and posing for the camera! I LOVE YOU SHILO!!!
